It is a dataset which includes in the concern elements section all the information related to the SVHCs present in the article.
What is a SCIP notification of a complex object?
It is a dataset that includes one or more link components datasets of either an article as such or other complex objects. Each component dataset must include the information related to the SVHCs present in each component of the complex object.
What is an article as such?
An article as such is a one-piece component, such as an alarm knob, a handlebar grip or a blade.
What is a complex object?
A complex object incorporates two or more components, each of which can be either an article as such or another complex object. For example, a complex object can be a camera, pencil sharpener, audio system and microwave.

Yes, you do. All products, regardless of their use, must be reported to SCIP.

Is SCIP related to RoHS and WEEE regulations?
The SCIP database is established under the Waste Framework Directive and linked to article 33 (1) of REACH. Thus, there is no direct relation to either RoHS or WEEE.
